Don’t get caught in the preconceived conceptions of how that business is supposed to work. The key is to differentiate yourself from others so that you’re not competing the same way that everyone is competing with the price. Tell a story about the benefits and a person it actually worked for.

What is the true benefit that you can deliver to the customer and then attach that to what the customer’s true needs are and what they’re looking for? Write down all their features on the left-hand side, in the middle part write down true benefits customers display, to the right write the name of the person that you’ve seen that benefit work with. And then you can get started with the sales process. In the first few lines, you need to show them how you have the benefits they need.
