Mary’s One Idea
Mary was involved in working with entrepreneurs for most her life. She believes that entrepreneurs are the “engine of the American economy.” They just don’t have the necessary resources to be successful. While working as a business broker, she discovered that a great number of entrepreneurs have awesome ideas but no way to launch. Mary entered into Executive Coaching in the late 1990s/early 2000s an eventually started Marshall Advisors with the purpose of assisting entrepreneurs achieve their dreams.
CEO Global Network is under the umbrella of Marshall Advisors. They group together leaders and CEOs to cooperatively assist each other in learning to run their businesses well. They give them the tools that they need to be successful. The greatest aspect of these group trainings is knowing that you’re not alone in your struggles and triumphs as an entrepreneur.
♦ Entrepreneurs are multi-talented but there is always an area of expertise. They are able to do everything but cannot do everything great. Find the area you’re really great at, focus on that area and then hire trusted people for the other necessary tasks. Only then can you move forward.
♦ Values are underrated in business. If you can identify early on what your values are then you can form your vision, mission, goals, decisions based on why you do the business you do. Knowing the why makes every aspect of your business easier.
