Even without a safety net at the time, Andrea decided to quit her job while her husband was still employed to build and launch their business. They were very clear about their plan and business model and they knew exactly who their customers would be. They wrote a book and used it as a platform as a calling card for their customers. The idea for her business came from her husband at the time who encouraged her to pursue the business of speaking and training people. They decided that they were still young and wouldn’t hurt to take a gamble since they did have the expertise in doing such an endeavor.
Currently, Andrea’s company has transitioned from speaking and training for the retail industry in 2007 into a topic based business to help anyone overcome the fear of rejection. They’ve also done very well with self-publishing.
