How can you inject more humanity into your entrepreneurship? – Amy Clover
Shawn & Amy discussed the value of having that personal touch (personal coaching) with your clients will deepen your relationship and allow them to progress even further. This will help you have more loyal members for life.
Prototyping: Boot campers will join Amy on an online video meeting to basically talk about their week. This is more like a supportive party. People getting together and sharing support. A weekly check-in, set up goals and break then down throughout the week. She personally checks in individually with their goals.
Amy’s One Idea
Amy’s idea came about more of an accident rather than an enlightenment. She got into fitness professionally in 2008. During that time, she was secretly struggling with clinical depression, obsessive/ compulsive disorder and anxiety disorder. She used fitness to help change her life. Someone had her to see that if she just told her story honestly, she became vulnerable and this became her USP. She realized that this was something that wasn’t being talked about at all back then. Fitness was even being prescribed by doctors as a treatment to depression and other disorders. That’s how Strong Inside Out came about.
Through Strong Inside Out, Amy helps people find the empowerment to get out of their depression or other struggles through fitness and positive action. Two years later, she has launched two major courses: The Phoenix Method used mainly for body change. Strong Inside Out Boot Camp is a track-based system (choose your own adventure system). They get specific workout for their mindset as wells as specific support and personal coaching. Amy always suggests having her clients take on a Therapist. She is quick to admit that she is not a medical professional.
To connect with Amy:
Lessons / Struggles
Telling her story honestly was really, really scary. She was afraid of being labeled as the “crazy girl”.
Your flaws are what sets you apart. You’ll be able to connect with people like no one else could.
Putting in personal coaching has helped her clients’ progress even more than just the blogs and doing the fitness.
